Requirements

• Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.
• CPI and CPR certification required within the first 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for clients and ensure their safety while building rapport.
• Assist clients in group settings and handle individual problems.
• Set limits for behavior and document client progress.
• Identify the need for professional services and communicate findings to staff.
• Contribute to the care and upkeep of the environment of care.
• Maintain awareness of assigned residents' activities at all times.
• Use verbal de-escalation methods to redirect client behaviors and prevent crises.
• Facilitate daily schedules and support residents in various activities.
• Complete daily shift notes for individual clients and communicate concerns to treatment teams.
• Supervise self-administration of medications and maintain compliance with licensing requirements.
• Provide transportation for residents to community outings in a safe manner.
