About The Position

Pyramid Healthcare is expanding with a new detox and residential treatment facility in Concord, NC. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our weekend team and support clients on their recovery journey. As a BHT, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals receiving substance use treatment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Prior experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in crisis situations
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
• Passion for supporting individuals in recovery

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with clients to ensure safety and structure.
• Complete client intakes and assist new admissions.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation.
• Assist in coordinating and monitoring daily activities and schedules.
• Provide safe and timely transportation for clients when needed.
• Support clients in following treatment goals and individualized plans.
• Respond effectively to client crises or behavioral concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; assist with basic housekeeping.
• Support clients during meals and daily living activities.
• Uphold professional ethics and therapeutic boundaries at all times.
• Participate in required training and staff development activities.
