About The Position
The Behavioral Health Strategic Advisor (BHSA) plays a critical leadership role in managing high-priority projects that shape state behavioral health policies and services in Washington State. This position involves collaboration with multiple agencies, providing expert guidance to executive leadership, and leading initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality, access, and accountability of behavioral health care statewide. The BHSA is responsible for overseeing project planning, risk management, and reporting, while consulting with stakeholders including legislators, advocacy groups, and healthcare providers. This role is pivotal in advancing access, quality, and accountability in behavioral health care throughout the state.
