Requirements

• 6 - 12 months of acute psychiatric experience in a hospital-based setting preferred but willing to train.
• Preference for applicants with an Associate Degree or higher in a Social Science Field.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with psycho-educational groups and physical activities.
• Provide therapeutic and scholastic assignments to residents.
• Model and coach pro-social skills to improve self-esteem.
• Engage consistently with clients to ensure safety and provide routines.
• Listen compassionately and redirect negativity to support healing.
