NOTE: COVID -19 Vaccinations are recommended Position Description Reporting to the Supervisor, Behavioral Health the full time, exempt Behavioral Health Specialist is essential member of a high performing healthcare team. The Behavioral Health Specialist Child and Adolescent Health Center (CAHC) will provide clinical behavioral health services to assure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment is administered. In addition, the Behavioral Health Specialist will uphold the health center's mission and quality standards which result in better patient health outcomes, overall satisfaction, and stronger operation and fiscal capacity of the health center. The Behavioral Health Specialist will adhere to Honor Community Health (HCH) policies and procedures while carrying out and monitoring a wide range of clinical processes. The Behavioral Health Specialist will maintain strong internal and external relationships, serving as a liaison on behalf of HCH's centers. The Behavioral Health Specialist works collaboratively to create and maintain a culture of excellence and dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality behavioral health care to all. Productivity expectation of a trained CACH Behavioral Health Specialist is an average of 7 or more behavioral health consultations/ counseling per clinical day.
