From initial assessment to customized aftercare, McLeod Centers provides compassionate, steadfast support for our patients’ journey to recovery. We are looking for passionate people to join our team! McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Full-Time AM and PM Behavioral Health Specialist to work with the Residential program at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of experience specifically working with individuals facing substance use challenges.

- Higher degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clients during groups.
- Provide support to Adolescent SAIOP counselors.
- Assist in planning groups and facilitating.
- Monitor clients during breaks between groups and activities.
- Assist in Coordination of Care.
- Assist clients in adhering to daily schedule.
- Prepare transportation vouchers and drug screening forms.
- Coordinate transportation needs for patients and families
- Assist with discharge planning as needed.
