As part of the integrated health model of Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center (TVHC), the Integrated Behavioral Health Program provides behavioral health services to patients currently receiving primary care services at TVHC. The Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS)/QA (LCSW) conducts screening, assessment, brief treatment, and consultative services to patients with mild to moderate mental health symptoms. As a licensed clinician, the BHS will utilize Evidence-Based Practices using brief treatment modalities and also provide linkage and referrals to community services as needed. The BHS II will work from an interdisciplinary approach and in collaboration with the PCP (Primary Care Provider), Consulting Psychiatrist, and Care Coordinator. In addition, this position will also serve as a BHS Quality Assurance Specialist and provides hands-on coordination, services, and administrative support in all quality assurance activities of the IBHP at TVHC. Specifically, the role provides routine audits of clinical client records, tabulation and reporting of audit results to individual therapists and the Director of BH, all in an effort to ensure the program meets strict documentation and billing standards. This position is also responsible for establishing and maintaining on-going clinical records documentation, helps to onboard new staff in QA, provides training and feedback to clinicians, program supervisor and to improve clinical patient record keeping practice. This position will play a crucial role in helping to building a pipeline of other resources for supervision of quality assurance, clinical paperwork and clinical consultation. Schedule: This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday hours. Compensation: $46.97 - $51.32 per hour, depending on experience. This position is represented by SEIU, with compensation and benefits determined by the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Salary is based on the wage scales outlined in the agreement.
