About The Position

The position involves providing emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling to patients and families facing challenges related to treatment services, illness, disability, or trauma. Responsibilities include case management and milieu management, conducting psychosocial assessments, assisting in the development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans, and collaborating as a member of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning. Additionally, the role requires completing necessary documentation and maintaining clinical records for each client throughout their length of stay.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field required.
• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or related field preferred.
• Current registration as an intern with the Board, as appropriate to education and licensing requirements.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current certification.
• Minimum one (1) year of Inpatient or Outpatient Behavioral Health experience preferred.
