About The Position

The Behavioral Health Services Manager is responsible for administering and providing clinical supervision for behavioral and social health programs. This role oversees daily program functions, manages treatment program development and implementation, and ensures that mental health services are delivered efficiently and effectively. The manager serves as the primary contact for behavioral and social service agreements with campus and external partners, and is involved in the development and evaluation of programs and performance improvement plans.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, or mental health field.
  • Four (4) years of experience in behavioral health consultation services, group therapy, teaching, outreach, student work, and/or case management.
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or other behavioral health-related independent licensure in the State of Alabama in good standing.
  • Experience using an electronic health record system.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.

  • Develop and evaluate programs and performance improvement plans.
