About The Position

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a Behavioral Health RN PRN to join their team. This role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team. The RN will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, advocating for patients and their families while supporting the organization's mission and values. The position requires assessing patient conditions, performing medical procedures, and managing the quality of care through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers and document care in the patient medical record.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan.
  • Serve as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems for ongoing care needs.
