Our Behavioral Health Units provide therapeutic care to patients with psychiatric or neurobehavioral conditions. As an RN, you will play an essential role in promoting safety, stability, and recovery; while expanding your clinical experience and discovering new areas of practice within our hospital.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in State of Connecticut.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
• Demonstrated competence in the clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a long-term acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication management, and discharge planning.
• Support a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
