About The Position
As the Behavioral Health Placement Coordinator, you will seek a mission driven and compassionate individual dedicated to providing superior care to make a difference in the lives of clients we serve. As a Bed Finder, your primary responsibilities are to accept patients and process them until discharge. You work with admissions and assign a bed or room that helps with the flow of the clinic and optimizes patient care. You address the needs of patients who transfer from other locations as well as newly admitted patients. You assess the availability and accessibility of rooms in the hospital and make sure the quality of care is at the highest standard. As the Bed Finder, you are also in charge of the schedule duties, so having the skills to see the big picture and act quickly are essential.
