Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Social Work is required; however, comparable experience may be accepted as a substitute for a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, provided the candidate holds a valid RN license or social work license.
For Registered Nurses, licensure to practice in Michigan is mandatory, and individuals hired for this role after January 1, 2015, must obtain a BSN within five years from their start date.
For Social Workers, a Master of Social Work is preferred, and a Michigan license is necessary.
