About The Position

Ascensa Health is a private, non-profit substance abuse and co-occurring disorder treatment center in midtown Atlanta. The agency is currently seeking a Behavioral Health Outreach Specialist to drive patient referrals and revenue growth by building relationships with physicians, hospitals, and community partners. Key responsibilities include conducting field sales visits, executing marketing plans, educating providers on services, and utilizing CRM tools to track interactions.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in healthcare sales, outreach, or business development.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is often preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining relationships with physicians, discharge planners, and key community stakeholders to increase referrals.
• Conducting weekly sales calls and visiting targeted providers to educate them on agency programs, services, and specialty care.
• Executing marketing plans to meet, or exceed, census and payor mix goals.
• Email, print and social media marketing. Participating in community events, and conferences to enhance brand awareness.
• Utilizing CRM software to document referral activity, analyze market trends, and report weekly on sales activities.
