About The Position
The Behavioral Health Liaison (BHL) at Kennestone Hospital is a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing comprehensive care for patients with psychiatric and substance use disorders. The BHL collaborates with the Consultation-Liaison Behavioral (CLB) team to ensure timely and appropriate care, aiming to enhance patient safety, manage length of stay, and reduce readmissions. This role involves high autonomy in coordinating care pathways, conducting assessments, and delivering interventions tailored to individual patient needs, while also providing education and training to hospital staff.
