Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related human services field.
  • Minimum of one-year relevant post-degree experience in the human services field.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
  • Must possess a valid Drivers License and meet the driving requirements of the Agency.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with children and their families to provide skill building services addressing their mental health needs.
  • Deliver direct care services that are client-centered, strengths-based, professional, and compassionate.
  • Encourage positive behaviors and actions in clients.
  • Provide indirect coordination and collaboration with other professionals to ensure comprehensive services that benefit the child and family.
  • Focus on skill-building in areas such as cognitive flexibility, communication, conflict resolution, executive functioning, interpersonal relationships, problem-solving, and social skills.
  • Meet with clients and their families at predetermined times that best support their needs.
