About The Position

Devereux Hiring Event! Date: April 29, 2025 Time: 12:00pm - 4:00pm Location: 40 Devereux Way, Red Hook, NY 12571 Positions include: Direct Support Professional (DSP), Teacher Assistant (TA), Assistant Residential Manager (ARM). Available Shifts: Full-time and part-time available. Days 7am-3pm, Evenings 3pm-11pm, Overnights 11pm-7am, Weekends (varied shifts).

Requirements

• HS diploma/GED.
• Experience preferred, but not required.
• Valid NY Drivers License (required for some positions).
• Flexibility, patience, energy, creativity, and a sense of humor.
• Strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in daily activities, including health and personal management.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and engage in recreation.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment.
• Support individuals in daily household living.
• Improve functioning and minimize interfering behaviors.
