About The Position

The primary role will be in the Comprehensive Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Program in the Intensive Feeding Track. The provider will be a member of a transdisciplinary team who will implement behavioral and cognitive behavioral strategies to help children with challenges related to feeding and eating. Provides clinical assessment, behavioral health treatment, case management, care coordination, and crisis intervention for children, adolescents and their families across all professional and clinical settings.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited university or professional school of Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Appropriate Ohio licensure.
  • Must remain current in required licensure and clinical or other training as required.
  • Independent license preferred.
  • Experience providing and managing culturally appropriate and trauma-informed behavioral healthcare to children, adolescents and families.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately assesses and documents client presenting problems, history, symptomology, mental status, and diagnosis.
  • Prescribes initial interventions in a timely manner.
  • Assists in developing specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
  • Employs strategies of intervention that are consistent with empirically supported treatments and consistent with program expectations.
  • Coordinates client care with other service providers and community resources to assure continuity of care.
  • Completes clinical charting and other related administrative paperwork in accordance with policy standards.
  • Remains current in general knowledge of psychopharmacology in pediatric behavioral healthcare and collaborates consistently with team psychiatrist.
