About The Position

Behavioral Health Educator, Research (Multiple Positions) – Group Health, Inc. dba HealthPartners (Bloomington, MN). Contribute to the recruitment and implementation of an intervention for suicide prevention with adults recently released from jail. Duties include: suicide risk screening; phone check-ins; developing/monitoring use of safety plan; care coordination support for health resources; delivering the Coping Long-Term with Active Suicide Program (CLASP) intervention; participating in development of departmental short and long-range goals; maintaining open lines of communication with leadership and health educators regarding issues internally and across the study; and making situational determinations of whether to escalate concerns about study participants’ suicidal ideation or similar concerns to Site PI. Requires Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field plus 1 year experience with each of the following: conducting psychotherapy using evidence-based protocols, including the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions; working with individuals who have had interactions with the criminal legal system; working with individuals exhibiting high risk behaviors; conducting behavioral risk assessments; using research methodologies and delivering research protocols as distinct from routine clinical care; documenting research intervention delivery and serious adverse events; and delivering phone-based or telehealth services. Must be LGSW or LICSW. May permit telecommuting. $61,200-$91,800/year. Requirements
