About The Position

The Behavioral Health Counselor at One to One Health is responsible for providing evidence-based counseling and psychotherapeutic techniques to assist clients in addressing personal, social, vocational, and interpersonal concerns. This role is supervised by the Director of Behavioral Health Services and focuses on developing and implementing treatment plans while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Maintain professional licensure and/or certifications throughout employment.
• Effective oral/written communication and organizational skills.
• Experience assessing for mental health emergencies and coordination of care.
• Masters or Doctoral Degree in behavioral science or related field.
• Unrestricted, unencumbered licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT). Pre-licensed professionals requiring supervision will also be considered.

• Develops and implements client treatment plans based on mutually accepted goals in a professional, non-judgmental manner.
• Adapts therapeutic approach to meet the individual needs of clients across diverse populations.
• Maintains confidentiality according to HIPAA and relevant state or federal laws regarding mental health information.
• Completes documentation in the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
