Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• If a new graduate, supervised-post graduate counseling experience (internship) with specified direct client contact under the supervision of a board-approved supervisor.
• Otherwise, 1 year of experience.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for monitoring services and providing community support services and therapeutic services.
• Uses a basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics and symptomology of primary mental illness to provide services.
• Knowledge of medications, side effects, and benefits to provide services in a person-centered, supportive, community-based environment.
