About The Position

St. Peter’s Health Partners - SPARC Latham is seeking a skilled, client-centered professional to provide treatment as a member of an interdisciplinary team. The individual will be responsible for assessment, planning, and implementation of the approved plan of patient care which is provided through individual and group sessions. This may include patients with co-occurring mental health disorders and family sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with CASAC or master's degree in a related field with licensure/certification.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in an addiction or behavioral related field.
• Skills in planning and leading group therapy, individual treatment sessions, and family sessions.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of working with community agencies and managed care representatives.
• Experience working with a diverse population.
• Strong understanding of multicultural issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide addiction treatment as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Responsible for assessment, planning, and implementation of the approved plan of patient care through individual and group sessions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Work with individuals, groups, and communities to improve mental health.
• Conduct intakes, individual, group, and family therapy.
