About The Position

Overview We are seeking a Behavioral Health CNA, also referred to as a Psychiatric Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Mental Health CNA at St John Hospital a member of Prime Healthcare in Leavenworth, KS. A Behavioral Health CNA or Mental Health CNA provides care for patients with mental health or behavioral challenges by assisting with daily activities, monitoring behaviors, and promoting a safe, supportive environment. They collaborate with the healthcare team to offer emotional support, identify changes in patient condition, and assist in de-escalating potentially critical situations. Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required
Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
