About The Position

SeaView Community Services is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinician to join our dynamic team providing integrated mental health and substance use treatment services for both adults and youth. This position is ideal for a clinician passionate about whole-person care and making a meaningful impact in a close-knit Alaskan community. The clinician will carry a diverse caseload, providing individual and group therapy, conducting assessments, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support client recovery and wellness. Our program emphasizes evidence-based practices, holistic wellness, and the belief that recovery is possible for everyone.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Alaska licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) or eligibility for licensure within 6 months.
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing therapy to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred.
  • Experience working with both adult and youth populations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy for adults and youth experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with case managers, peer supports, medical providers, and other behavioral health professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations.
  • Maintain clinical documentation that meets agency and payer requirements.
  • Support clients in achieving recovery and wellness goals through a strengths-based approach.
