About The Position
The position involves providing psychotherapeutic services, including individual, group, and family treatment for an adolescent intensive outpatient program. The role requires conducting initial biopsychosocial assessments for patients in need of intensive behavioral health services and completing and analyzing evidence-based screening tools and assessments. Additionally, the therapist will develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients, which include clear problem statements, treatment goals, and measurable, relevant objectives for a range of behavioral health concerns. The therapist will manage a caseload comprised of moderate to high acuity patients and conduct multiple psycho-educational, therapeutic, and skills groups, as well as individual and family therapy services. Collaboration with other mental health and educational professionals is essential to coordinate care effectively. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient documentation records is also a critical responsibility. The therapist will work within a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, and participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current on best practices in the field of behavioral health. Completing all mandatory AHS trainings and competencies as assigned is also required.
