About The Position

The person selected for this position will provide direct mental health services to Children. These services include individual/group/and family therapy, counseling case management, psychosocial evaluations, treatment planning, crisis intervention initial contacts and providing consultation/education/prevention services as needed. Employee will receive on-call rate and generous shift differentials for after-hours work.

Requirements

• Requires a baccalaureate degree from an accredited program in a behavioral health field for Behavioral Health Case Manager II
• Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in a behavioral health or closely related behavioral science field and two (2) years of experience in professional case management behavioral health services for Senior Behavioral Health Case Manager II
• Contingent to training availability, Department sponsored case management certification will be completed within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Provide direct mental health services to children
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy
• Perform counseling case management
• Conduct psychosocial evaluations
• Develop treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention
• Make initial contacts with clients
• Offer consultation, education, and prevention services as needed
