About The Position
The Behavioral Health Case Manager I is responsible for performing case management telephonically within the scope of licensure for members with behavioral health, physical health, and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder needs. This position is primarily a remote/virtual role, and ideal candidates will live within 50 miles/1-hour commute to one of the Elevance Health major office locations. The role involves responding to complex cases, conducting assessments, developing care plans, monitoring effectiveness, and coordinating with internal and external resources to meet member needs.
