About The Position
The Behavioral Health Associate at Seven Hills Hospital plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients suffering from behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. This position is integral to the treatment and recovery process for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (ages 5-17) within a state-of-the-art psychiatric facility located in Henderson, Nevada. The hospital is part of Acadia Healthcare, a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services across the United States. As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and be responsible for the direct delivery of patient care. This includes monitoring patients, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and participating in therapeutic activities designed to enhance patients' interpersonal skills and overall mental wellness. In this role, you will assist in developing strategies to promote patient independence and provide valuable input to the treatment team for formulating and revising treatment plans. You will monitor behavioral improvements, encourage participation in therapeutic activities, and reinforce skills learned from therapists and nursing staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of patient behaviors, vital signs, and nutritional intake, ensuring compliance with hospital policies. The position also involves making patient rounds, maintaining safety protocols, and participating in emergency procedures as necessary. This is a part-time position that requires a commitment to providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need of mental health services.
