About The Position

Youth Care of Utah, owned by Acadia Healthcare, is a residential treatment center for troubled youth located in Draper, Utah. The Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) position is responsible for the supervision of students and providing support as they work towards accomplishing treatment plan goals. Residential staff are expected to maintain positive interactions with team members, students, parents, and professionals. They should demonstrate a strong overall work ethic and develop and maintain positive, healthy relationships with students, serving as role models. The ideal candidate will communicate in a clear and professional manner, be able to deal effectively with stressful situations, and be skilled at conflict mediation.

Requirements

  • ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screen
  • must be able to provide social security card for state background
  • documentation of high school diploma/GED
