About The Position

Twelve Oaks is a private facility providing addiction and mental health treatment services to adults. We are looking to hire Full Time BHA's on night shift: 11pm - 7am. Come join our team as a Behavioral Health Associate at Twelve Oaks Recovery! We are seeking a dynamic BHAs for third shift (11pm-7am); every other weekend is required. If you are passionate and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those in need through compassionate therapeutic practices while working in a team environment that supports learning and growth, this position is right for you!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in working with addiction or healthcare settings preferred
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
  • Knowledge of chemical dependency and dual diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation requirements helpful

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/CPI certification (offered on site)

Responsibilities

  • Providing care and close supervision of facility patients and documenting behavior
  • Developing positive relationships with patients and co-workers
  • Following facility policies and procedures implementing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention as necessary
  • Actively participating as part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction
  • Acting as a role model in using appropriate counseling skills by de-escalating aggression, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture
