THIS WORK MATTERS! Corrections Health provides medically necessary health care to Adults in Custody (AICs) and Youth in Custody (YICs) in Multnomah County jails. Behavioral Health Assessment and Planning Clinician - FLOAT provides services of assessment, crisis intervention, counseling and care coordination for identified individuals in jail. Other services include case consultation, group facilitation, education, attention to evidence-based practices and selected assigned administrative and client care duties. This assignment may float to any of the three locations within Corrections Health. The three locations would include: 1. The Multnomah County Detention Center (Downtown- adult population) 2. The Juvenile Detention Center (NE Portland-youth population) 3. Inverness Jail Detention Center (Near PDX airport) This position is essential to the public health and safety, and required to report for duty regardless of County decisions to close or curtail other county operations.
