If you have an interest in gaining experience within the mental health residential services field, this is the job for you. Marion County Health and Human Services is seeking a compassionate, energetic and flexible individual to work in its Horizon House Residential Treatment Facility. This individual will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to provide Person-Centered mental health treatment services in a 24-hour residential setting, serving adults with serious and persistent mental illness or chemical dependency. This position is an opportunity to build experience working in a therapeutic milieu environment, administering medications, maintaining documentation and communication with staff, and transporting residents as needed - ODL is required. This is a potential opportunity to gain hours for credentialing. Temp/On-call positions generally help cover 8-10-hour shifts as needed, the most emergent need is graveyard coverage. Temp/On-call Aides are required to cover at least two shifts per month and may take on as many additional shifts as they are willing/able.
