Have you heard of “Opportunity Youth”?... 1 in 5 Americans aged 16 to 24 are neither employed nor in school, making this an at-risk and disconnected population. These young adult participants present with complex stressors and unique barrier remediation needs while navigating a pivotal developmental life stage. The Behavioral Health Advocate will provide support to assist them with life skills, decision-making, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and fostering healthy relationships. We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented, and caring individual to join our spirited team! The Behavioral Health Advocate (BHA) is responsible for the assessment and intervention of program participants who have identified behavioral health concerns as being a barrier to reaching their full potential. As a BHA, you will assist in providing brief therapeutic interventions and referring to long-term external supportive services when applicable.
