Job Summary:

Coordinates administrative support needs for all areas of the facility. Performs
basic reception, office management and public relations duties. Coordinates
data/logs related to involuntary detention for mental health patients being
treated, including firearms prohibition reporting. Runs program(s) with moderate
budget/impact.

Requirements

• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree
• Five years' technical experience
• Two years' experience in a hospital behavioral medicine setting with an emphasis in billing, marketing and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the billing for the Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) services. Generates reports related to reimbursement, denials and length of stay.
• Coordinates and maintains department Hospital-Based Inpatient Psychiatric Services (HBIPS) data collection. Coordinates and maintains department data collection to include Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) data sets in performance improvement activities.
• Acts as liaison/resource for government agencies, outside agencies, referrals, patient’s family and friends.
• Maintains accurate daily records, collections/assimilation of statistical data for subsequent report generation/analysis, and compiles report when assigned.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
