About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the oversight of clinical services within the assigned programs. Actively collaborate with members of Residential Management Team and the Clinical Team to ensure the program’s clinical services meet regulatory requirements of DDS/DMA. Continually seek to enhance the quality of services, behavior support plans and clinical interventions through the adoption of best practices in the industry. Effectively assess behavioral concerns, develop preventative strategies and positive behavioral support plans as needed. Provide training and education to staff relating to individuals' clinical needs. Provide guidance and support to staff surrounding crisis issues, ensure implementation of recommendations and provide intervention when necessary. Work in conjunction with Program Management to establish systems of records and reports, including timely reporting, tracking and other clinical/behavioral necessary documentation. Interact with co-workers, program members, volunteers, and funders in a collaborative, courteous, empathic, and professional manner. Demonstrate willingness and ability to be a cooperative part of the team effort. Participate in on-the-job training and provide coaching to new co-workers as directed. Attend all required meetings. Adhere to RTR’s policies and procedures. Adhere to agency safety standards. Perform additional duties or substitute for others as required. Develop and provide all services in accordance with RTR’s philosophies including staff and Board beliefs

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree & Independently Licensed clinician (i.e. BCBA, LABA, LICSW, LMHC)
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with individuals with various developmental, intellectual and emotional disabilities.
  • Minimum of three years of training, including post graduate class work or formal training, and/or experience in function based behavioral assessment and treatment.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings.
  • Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Must be fluent in English and have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS) preferred
