Requirements
- Must have completed free CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification course or be able to complete within 6 months of hire... For more information: https://www.nj.gov/dcf/providers/csc/training/
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or related field.
- 2-4 years experience in behavioral healthcare (maladaptive behaviors).
- 2-4 years experience working with children with disabilities (developmental/intellectual disabilities, mental illness).
- Valid NJ Driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
- Consent to and pass State/Federal Criminal Background Checks.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment visas at this time.

Responsibilities
- A BA will visit the client at home or in the community to provide relief to caregivers and holistic support to youth.
- Our BA’s typically work 2-20 hours weekly in 2-4 hour shifts starting after 3:00pm during the school year and as early as 8:30am during the summer. Services are available any day of the week to accommodate the scheduling needs of our clients.
- Individual Support Plan development and implementation
- Delivery and monitoring of behavior analysis services
- Submission of weekly clinical progress notes, within 24 hours of service provision Intake Data Assessments
- Data collection and display (e.g., graphics) as authorized by a recipient’s behavioral analysis service plan
- Compliance with service authorization, including time frames and service hours
- Implement interventions in the Individual Support Plan
- Implementation of behavioral procedures for the acquisition of replacement skills reduction of problematic behaviors
- Carry out treatment as designated by the supervising behavior analyst which includes:
- Facilitating environmental arrangements.
- Using proactive strategies.
- Teaching and developing new skills.
- Managing specific consequences for behavior based on function.
- Must be willing to work with the child or youth to increase ADL (Assisted Daily Living) skills within their home as well as during community outings.
- Assist parent/guardian in the implementation of the treatment plan.
- Assist the behavior analyst in the training of caregivers and/or staff.
- Crisis prevention, recognition, and intervention.
- Ensure all agency policies are implemented and followed.
- Participate in required training.
