Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, we deliver a broad range of pediatric programs from surgery, imaging and neonatal and pediatric intensive care to cardiac and oncology (cancer care) services and blood and marrow and organ transplantation. The starting base rate of pay for the Behavioral Assistant role is $22.33. Candidates with experience may be brought in at a higher rate of pay. This position will be working 48 hours every two weeks on the night shift, 8 hour shifts and every other weekend. The Behavioral Assistant is a member of the interdependent care team led by a designated Registered Nurse. Individuals in this role are responsible for assisting the nursing staff in maintaining a safe and healing environment in the inpatient setting. The Behavioral Assistant responds to patient needs, contributes to efficient unit operations and observes patients as delegated by, and under the supervision of, the Registered Nurse.
