We at Fairview are looking for a dedicated Behavioral Assistant to join our team at the University of Minnesota Emergency Department! This position will be working 60 hours every two weeks - Day shift - 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm with every 3rd weekend rotation. Located at University of MN Medical Center, West Bank Campus in Minneapolis, MN. The starting base rate of pay for the Behavioral Assistant role is $22.33 Candidates with experience may be brought in at a higher rate of pay. The Behavioral Assistant is a member of the interdependent care team led by a designated Registered Nurse. Individuals in this role are responsible for assisting the nursing staff in maintaining a safe and healing environment in the inpatient setting. The Behavioral Assistant responds to patient needs, contributes to efficient unit operations and observes patients as delegated by, and under the supervision of, the Registered Nurse.
