About The Position
Leidos is seeking a motivated intern to support our work in behavioral and cognitive modeling research. The position will be based out of our Arlington, VA office, which is within walking distance of the Ballston Metro stop. However, this position is available as remote work or onsite. This candidate will work with other researchers and engineers in research projects focused on contributing to the development of state-of-the-art solutions and leading development of novel technical approaches in the field of behavioral and cognitive research. Tasks involved in this research include modeling (AI/ML) data analysis, Human Subject Research (HSR) and the adaptation and extension of behavioral and cognitive technologies as the means to improve human performance and predict human behavior. The candidate must be technically savvy and intellectually adaptive, inquisitive, communicative, a self-starter and problem-solver, and self-managed when necessary. The intern will also perform statistically analysis of the research to include visual and graphical presentation of results for decision-makers.
