Behavioral Analyst Salaried: 55K (Negotiable based on Level Education & Experience) Main Office Location: Mt Laurel, NJ 08054 We are looking for a dedicated and skilled candidate to join our team, with a preference for individuals holding a Master’s Degree and actively pursuing Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. However, candidates with Bachelor's Degrees are also strongly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will possess experience in writing and developing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) and have a solid background in data collection methodologies. Additionally, expertise in crisis management and intervention training is essential. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral analysis, psychology, special education, social work, public health counseling, or a similar degree
  • Master's Degree in applied behavioral analysis, psychology, special education, social work, public health counseling, or a similar degree
  • One year experience working with special populations in crisis intervention, staff training and assessment and plan development.
  • Training experience (caregiver, staff, and/or crisis management)
  • Mobility and Range of Motion: Must be able to perform a full range of body motions, including frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling to interact with clients in group homes or day programs.
  • Physical Crisis Management: Must have the physical strength and stamina to train staff in and implement "Personal Control Techniques," which may include manual disengagements and non-contact defensive techniques to avoid injury from aggression.
  • Active Intervention: Ability to move quickly to pace with clients and intervene during intense problem behaviors, which may require transporting or physically supporting individuals for safety purposes.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Stamina for Diverse Environments: Capability to maintain high energy and alertness during sessions in varied settings, ranging from quiet office environments to active, potentially loud group homes and day programs.

  • Board Certification preferred.
  • Prefer to have experience with excel

Responsibilities

  • Directs program participant contact in effecting behavioral change, primarily in the area of activities of daily living, behavior management and social skills.
  • Works with supervisors and direct staff in the development, implementation, maintenance, and generalization of behavioral change.
  • Maintains the use of least restrictive treatment guidelines in the implementation of Behavioral Techniques.
  • Provides Behavioral Therapy and Active Treatment programming in the residence job site, and within the community on an individual or group basis.
  • Submits weekly logs indicating objectives, strategies, and results obtained. This includes maintaining and submitting billing on a weekly bases.
  • Consults with staff, insurance providers, lawyers, service providers post-discharge, and family on treatment recommendations and progress.
  • Participates in family education and therapy as needed
  • Participates in treatment planning with the trans-disciplinary team and attends pre-admission meetings as requested.
  • Serves as a member on the rehabilitation team.
  • Ensures evaluation, progress, and discharge reports on each program participant are provided in a timely manner.
  • Completes daily billing summaries on a timely basis.
  • Assists in coordination of behavioral programming within all living settings, community settings, and vocational sites as necessary. This includes engaging in and maintaining communication between these services and all planning team providers.
  • Consults with and/or trains staff in behavioral techniques.
  • Oversees work and trains BIT intern and practicum students.
  • Ensures adherence to accreditation standards and ethics of confidentiality.
  • Participates in Behavioral Research Projects with the facility and Crisis Intervention program
  • Performs other related duties and activities as required.
