About The Position

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges. This role involves helping children develop social skills, communication skills, and addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors. The position requires documenting child progress and milestones and following behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Requirements

• Passion for working with children with special needs
• Strong communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in capacities such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts
