About The Position

The Behavior Therapist is responsible for providing one-on-one or small group interventions to consumers in the home, school, or community setting when, without treatment, behaviors may require a more restrictive setting. This role focuses on implementing behavioral interventions and supporting children and adolescents in achieving improved behavioral and developmental outcomes across environments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
• Experience with behavior management and autism in children and adolescents
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and proof of car insurance
• Ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI Clearances
• Ability to travel and work at multiple locations

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 1 year of experience in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions in home, school, or community settings
• Facilitate small group behavioral sessions as appropriate
• Implement behavior management strategies and treatment plans
• Support children and adolescents with autism and behavioral health needs
• Collaborate with families, schools, and treatment teams to ensure consistent intervention
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
• Travel to multiple service locations as required
• Adhere to all organizational, state, and regulatory guidelines
