About The Position

The Behavior Technician position involves providing academic support and implementing behavioral intervention strategies for students ranging from Kindergarten through age 22. The role requires the ability to work with students who have significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs. The technician will be responsible for applying PMT (Physical Management Techniques) strategies to support these students effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of completed coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development or related field.
  • Completion of annual PMT training is required.
  • Ability to implement PMT strategies and significant behavioral intervention and support with students.

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Behavior Technician certification or willingness to pursue.
