About The Position

Behavioral Health Works is seeking fun & energetic individuals who will provide evidence-based behavioral therapy to individuals in need of support. Our Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principles. Our program is overseen by Clinical Directors and highly experienced BCBAs that can offer supervision as well. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training is provided, and fees are covered by Behavioral Health Works. Requirements

  • Must possess at minimum a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Must have access to a smartphone or similar device capable of capturing client session data.
  • Must be willing to undergo a criminal background clearance.
  • Must provide proof of a negative TB test, pre-employment physical exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/Varicella-Zoster Virus during onboarding.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation, including a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
  • Must be available between Monday to Friday in the 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. time block, with a commitment of at least 10 hours per week.

  • Exposure to individuals with Autism or special needs through family, friends, or work experience.
  • Bilingualism is a plus; higher pay rate offered for bilingual individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home and community-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy.
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
  • Maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work.
  • Engage in play and keep up with the energy of the child during sessions.
