About the position

Behavioral Health Works is seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join their team as Behavior Technicians. This part-time role involves providing evidence-based behavioral therapy to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principles. The position requires collaboration with parents and other professionals to create tailored treatment plans, and offers training and support for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
• Engage actively with children during therapy sessions, maintaining a fun and energetic atmosphere.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Requirements

• Must possess at minimum a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Must have access to a smartphone or similar device for capturing client session data.
• Must be willing to undergo a criminal background clearance.
• Must provide proof of a negative TB test and pre-employment physical exam.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingualism is a plus, with a higher pay rate for bilingual individuals.
• Experience with individuals with Autism or special needs is preferred.
