About The Position
The Behavior Technician position at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc. involves implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs for patients and their families under the guidance of a Clinical Supervisor. The role is crucial in addressing both skill acquisition and the reduction of challenging behaviors, with treatment sessions taking place in various environments such as the CARD center, patients' homes, schools, community settings, or through telehealth. The Behavior Technician is responsible for ensuring that the treatment provided meets and exceeds the clinical quality standards set by CARD. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families, as well as effective communication with all stakeholders involved in the treatment process. Behavior Technicians are expected to collect and record data on patient progress with high fidelity, review and implement feedback from the Clinical Supervisor during treatment sessions, and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. The role also emphasizes personal growth and training opportunities to ensure clinical excellence. The Behavior Technician will represent CARD in a professional and ethical manner, adhering to all policies and procedures while maintaining accurate and timely records. This position does not involve any direct reports, and the Behavior Technician will report to the CARD Operations Manager.
