As a Behavior Technician at Autism Systems, you will play a crucial role in providing home-based and clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about child development and are eager to make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families. You will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other professionals to implement individualized behavior plans and ensure the highest quality of care for our clients. The role requires a commitment to ongoing training and professional development, as you will be expected to complete necessary training and demonstrate accurate implementation of client-specific plans, including behavior plans and emergency procedures. In this part-time internship position, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients, collecting and recording data accurately while maintaining client privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations. You will receive direct supervision and support from experienced professionals, allowing you to grow your skills and knowledge in the field of ABA. We are looking for individuals who are willing to travel to home-based sessions and have reliable transportation. This position is ideal for those who are 18 years or older, possess a high school diploma or GED (with some college preferred), and have a genuine interest in working with children. You will be expected to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 7 pm, with some weekend availability required.
