About the position

The Behavior Technician is responsible for working directly with children who have autism in their home. Implementing evidence-based intervention strategies as outlined by the client's Individual Treatment Plan (ITP). Records data according to the ITP. Reports issues and/or concerns relating to family, client, or team to the supervisor and reports progress and/or concerns to the Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the rotation and/or individualized schedule.
  • Implement evidence-based intervention strategies as outlined by the client's Individual Treatment Plan (ITP).
  • Record data according to the ITP.
  • Report issues and/or concerns relating to family, client, or team to the supervisor.
  • Report progress and/or concerns to the Consultant.
  • Work towards all program goals on the client's data form during each session.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience working directly with children or children with autism.
  • Must be comfortable working with children.
  • Flexible schedule and be willing to work evenings and/or weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is recommended, but not required.
