About The Position

The Behavior Technician position at Key Autism Services involves providing in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. The role is designed for both experienced and entry-level professionals who are passionate about improving the lives of children and families. Technicians will work under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement therapy and counseling programs, collect data, and support the development of children in a compassionate and structured environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (preferred), or RBT certification.
• Experience in childcare, healthcare, or mental health.
• Dependability and reliability are crucial for the child's success.
• Integrity to work in the child's home without constant supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with children on the autism spectrum.
• Previous training in ABA therapy or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
• Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
