About The Position

We are a state of the art behavioral clinic for children with autism and their families. We believe in treating the family as a whole, and as such siblings and parents are often incorporated into our therapy. Our unique services include a 3-month parent training program, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and day-time center based services for children between the ages of 2-12. We strive to provide compassionate and creative care to meet the needs of our families Our services include: 1:1 ABA therapy Parent training programs Speech and occupational therapy Counseling Autism testing and assessments We are looking for energetic individuals to provide 1:1 therapy to help children improve communication, social, and play skills. Training and certification are provided, and Behavior Technicians receive on-site supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
  • Professional references
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clean criminal history
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
  • Ability to walk, run, lift, squat, bend, push/pull 30 pounds as needed for therapy services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and staff

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Teach language, social, motor, play, and daily living skills (ADLs)
  • Maintain a fun, interactive, and organized environment
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and families
  • Document behaviors and collect data
  • Collaborate with Speech and Occupational Therapy departments
  • Obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification and Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) Safety-Care Training
